The process of formative assessment can has been broken down into five standards that should be met by all involved in the process.



What does this all mean?

Clear and appropriate users and uses Develop clear pictures on the use of assessment results and who uses them
Choosing the best assessment method Consider the best method of assessment and evaluate the assessment tool.
Sampling Assessment
Avoiding potential sources of bias and distortion The assessment tool and its delivery does not impede the students' ability to demonstrate proficiency
