Educational Background
bulletI am from Liverpool and attended Mount Pleasant (a small school just like Mill Village), Liverpool Academy and Senior Elementary, South Queens Junior High and graduated as part of the class of 2000 from Liverpool Regional High School.
bulletIn 2004, I graduated from Mount Saint Vincent University with an Honours degree in Child and Youth Studies.
bulletI earned my Bachelor of Education (Elementary) degree from Acadia University in 2006 and I am currently working towards my Master of Education in Inclusive Education at Acadia University.
bulletThis is my sixth year teaching. My first teaching assignment was Core French 7,8, and 9 and Program Support at South Queens Junior High. This is my fifth year at Mill Village! I look forward to teaching Primary/One and Two, Core French 4-6, Program Support and being the Early Literacy teacher!

bulletI live in Hubbards with my husband Adam, our son Caillum and our two cats Peek-a-Boo and Pepper
bulletIn October, 2007 I was married and changed my name from Ms. MacEachern to Mrs. Burgess
bulletI love coaching sports! I have coached volleyball, basketball and badminton.
bulletI love the colour purple!
bulletWhen not correcting or planning I enjoy scrap booking, playing volleyball and watching television.
