S-Video Fest 2011

SEE THE 2010 FESTIVAL RESULTS & INFO

It takes a few moments to open!

Plan to enter your classroom video in this year's S-Video fest! This year's festival will again be part of the South Shore Knowledge Festival.

Welcome to Lighthouse Publishing who are working with us again on this year's Festival!

On Friday, April 15, 2011 the magic of seeing student created films on the big screen is again possible thanks to Empire Theatres in Bridgewater who have generously donated theatre space to us.  This is sure to make this year's festival exciting for our film makers and our audience. Last year those who attended know that it was a packed house at the theatre.  This year we have made plans to have more than one theatre available to us.  In addition, this year the People's Choice Award will be voted on prior to the festival.  Eligible videos will be posted online and everyone will get a chance to vote for their favourites in advance of the festival.  More details will be posted in March about this exciting new development.

As always, videos will be judged by industry professionals and may win a cash award, smart board, a computer, video camera or other cool stuff for students and their classrooms.

All videos must be 5 minutes or under in length, conform to the Judging Rubric and have a curricular focus. All entries are due to the Board Office by 4:00 p.m. March 10, 2011.
