This free site allows the user to create slide show presentations with basic tools and the ability to import images from Google, Flickr, and Evernote; videos from YouTube. The goal of integrating mobile technology into the classroom is to promote educational excellence: by facilitating resource sharing, innovation, research, creativity, communication, increased productivity, and mobile learning. This excellence in education requires that technology be seamlessly integrated throughout the educational program.
As a teacher, you need to question what the purpose of the device will be in your classroom at any given time and what are the classroom management issues surrounding personal online internet access. Mobile devices are a tool for use in education, they are not the education, so treat them as such. Consider also how the child will share their work created on the mobile device. Will they be able to email it to you? Share it through the “ourcloud”? Will you be collecting the devices…how will that work if the student owns the device? Who pays for the Apps on the device?
